Description
This build is to charge MR2716 (PRC 710 and PRC 624). It looks weird, for the simplicity of build and so it will looks different than the USB adapters.
The chosen charging module has few a major drawback - it doesn't have PD or QC. It will use 5V even if the charger is smart charger. It will not awake type C to type C chargers.
You need to choose 3S charger and either 1A or 2A based on your charger.
The cover has a small window for indication light. If you like to improve its water seal, please close it with hot glue or anything that will provide splash resistance and is transparent.
I'll add a version with only one or two layers, so some partially opaque material will not require this sealing step.
You may use PETG or ABS and not PLA. It gets to 70C - 80C inside.
Minimal soldering capabilities are required.
Expected charging time: 2716 battery is 5.2Ah at 11.1V. If we charge at 5V at 2A, it should take about 6 hours. Double that if you chose the 1A circuit.
