Star-shaped nozzle attachment for the Gourmia GSI1020 soft serve ice cream maker

Tired of the plain, round spout on your ice cream maker? Here’s the solution: a star-shaped nozzle attachment for your favorite soft serve ice cream maker!

I created several different nozzle designs with various star-shaped openings compared to no nozzle. This one is the simplest design and easiest to print, and it works well.

To install, slide the nozzle upward and push it slightly back while folding the top tabs inward until you hear a "snap," indicating it’s securely in place. To uninstall, press both thumbs outward on the top tabs until you hear a "snap," then slide the nozzle down to remove it completely.

Do not wash in the dishwasher or use hot water if the nozzle is printed with low-temperature materials like PLA.

Please be aware that this machine doesn’t produce much force to push the ice cream out. Because the nozzle adds some resistance, if your ice cream isn’t soft enough, the nozzle will slow down the flow and may cause slightly more ice cream to get stuck inside the machine.
