Description
This modular climbing support is designed for easy use in the garden, on balconies, or indoors. Its minimalist yet elegant structure blends functionality with clean aesthetics. Perfect for a wide range of climbing plants like monstera, peas, beans, or tomatoes.
Each module measures approx. 20 cm in width, 25 cm in height, and features a material thickness of 3 mm. The default inner diameter is 10 cm, which fits well into most standard pots.
If you're working with smaller containers or want a more compact solution, you can easily scale the model before printing. The system is infinitely stackable — both in height and width — thanks to its well-designed snap-fit joints.
To support aerial roots and provide a stable hold for your plants, the lattice structure can be filled with:
Sphagnum moss (recommended for best moisture retention)
or regular potting soil (Erde) as a simple alternative
This support is especially helpful for species like Monstera deliciosa that appreciate a moist climbing surface.
Material: PETG or ASA recommended for outdoor use
Layer height: 0.2 mm
Infill: ~20%
Supports: Tree (only for the ClimbingSupportMain)
Modular parts: Designed for easy assembly without glue or screws
For the best result, pre-soak moss before inserting it into the frame. This improves moisture distribution and helps your plant develop stronger aerial roots.
