Vintage Holmes Stereoscope Mod with Caddy

I modified to fit small circular reading glasses lenses found on Amzn at 3 pairs for $9.99. I choose +3.5 and that seems to work well. you can place the lens in the front or the back, with just a few drops of glue to hold them. I also modified to set on a desktop for looking at book pages. The focus is off, but it's no problem raising the scope off the page. Is it perfect? It's close. 99% of my cards worked well, a few required I pull back a little, but a couple didn't line up, but did with my vintage unit. Perhaps lens alignment.
