Description
This is the third iteration of the Servo-Driven Tension Claw, a add-on for the MK3 Forearm Armor, with major upgrades for efficiency and flexibility. This version uses significantly less material in the base, which is now modular, allowing you to stack multiple bases for extended reach. New front and back attachments—the servo holder and claw mount—secure the servo and claws, respectively. The servo wheel has been redesigned for improved torque. Like before, the claw uses fishing line and the material’s natural curvature for a smooth, non-destructive grip, with extra servo force increasing grip strength without harsh linear motion. The ESP32 code has been updated for smoother claw movement and now displays the claw’s state on an OLED screen, making it easier to monitor and control.
This prototype is perfect for cosplay, hobby robotics, or DIY automation projects.
The base requires gluing or drilling/screwing into the MK3 Forearm Armor’s mount hole.
