Description
I was brainstorming ideas after painting all day and I thought... magic wand paint brush? Brushes are super expensive but they're surprisingly simple tools. So I overcomplicated it and came up with this after having a total of about 2 hours of sleep this week and a cup of coffee at 7pm. Using @jcernato's threads I did my best to create a screw cap for the back which hairs can be folded into. There is a flaw in the hole which I may or may not be able to mend after I have more sleep. Though anyone else might be better at the job. Aside from that, all it's missing is a metal clip to hold the hairs in place, which I have not had enough sleep to figure out how to print. I put the handle on the bottom on purpose as it's the heavy end of the brush, and writing wrists I do not want to try to balance a brush with a heavy back end... wait... I may have gotten that backwards...
The idea is simple, thread the hairs through the hole, screw it onto the wand handle and clip the ends together on the other side...
I know that logically you could also remove the eraser of your pencil, put whatever hair you have into the metal end of the pencil and press those ends together... but that is not a magic wand, so that would fail our main project goal. Which is to make everything we possibly can fantasy themed.
I am 85% positive this will not work, but I cannot test it as I'm currently printing a cat castle out of a dice tower I found... I may not remember I was working on this later, but I hope I come back to it someday after getting sleep.
