Prism Prints - Moder - Valheim Fan Art

I made my take on the fourth boss in the game Valheim: Moder. Moder is a giant frost dragon that can be summoned in the Mountain Biome. I guess technically, she's a "wyvern," but the game calls her a "dragon." Since her name translates to "Mother" in several Nordic languages, and it takes three eggs obtained from drake nests to summon her, Moder is considered the mother of all drakes. For this sculpt, I thought it would be a cool idea to make the base like her alter in game. I added shards of ice jutting up around the back which I thought framed the figure, nicely. Before printing, I chose to hollow out the base using a slicer program. I felt like the thin walls of the ice shards printed in a clear blue resin would give a neat ice effect. I also chose to pose the wings kind of grabbing around the ice as if she is about to push off into flight. Dragons, wyverns, and all the creatures in that vein are some of my favorite things to sculpt, so I really enjoyed diving into the details for this one.

I also added a decimated model of Moder for anyone interested in an STL under 100MB.
