Description
Kolink Rocket v2 – Alpenföhn Panorama 2 Fan Intake Plate
This custom-designed intake plate ensures that the Alpenföhn Panorama 2 CPU cooler in the Kolink Rocket v2 Mini-ITX case draws fresh air directly from outside the case instead of recirculating warm internal air.
It is designed to be mounted directly above the CPU cooler, perfectly aligning with the fan for optimal airflow and cooling performance.
Specifications:
Dimensions: 174 × 152 × 9 mm
Fan opening diameter: 88 mm
Fan mounting hole spacing: 85 × 85 mm (M3 screws)
Weight (printed): 62 g
Filament usage: ~8 m (25 g depending on material density)
Airflow Comparison:
Case side panel: 440 × 4 mm holes = 5,529 mm² total open area
CPU cooler fan: 88 mm diameter = 6,082 mm² area
Difference: 553 mm² (9 % less open area)
However: the perforated panel design creates turbulence and airflow resistance.
With this intake plate, the fan has a direct channel to outside air, eliminating recirculation and improving cooling efficiency.
Features:
Directs cool outside air into the CPU cooler
Acts as a shroud/duct (9 mm thick) for optimized airflow
Reduces internal air recirculation
Optimized airflow area for the 88 mm Alpenföhn Panorama 2 fan
Easy to install with standard M3 screws
Designed specifically for the Alpenföhn Panorama 2 in the Kolink Rocket v2 case
