📌 Project Description

This is a 3D Printed Webcam Cover designed to protect your privacy in a simple and practical way. The model was created to be minimalist, functional, and easy to print, without the need for supports or complex adjustments.

The sliding part moves smoothly over the webcam lens, allowing you to open and close it whenever needed. It can be used on laptops, external monitors, and other devices with built-in cameras, ensuring an extra layer of security.

This model was specifically designed for webcams smaller than 13x13 mm.
The overall dimensions of the printed cover are 40x15 mm.

🖨️ Print Settings

Printer: Anycubic Kobra S1 Combo
Technology: FDM
Material: PLA (ABS or PETG can also be used for higher resistance)
Layer height: 0.16 mm – 0.20 mm
Infill: 20%
Supports: Not required
Orientation: Print in the provided STL orientation for best results

🔧 Assembly & Usage

Print all the parts.
Insert the sliding part into the base track.
Attach the base to your device using double-sided tape.
Slide to open or close the webcam cover.

⚠️ Notes

Make sure to check your device dimensions before printing to ensure proper fit (must be under 13x13 mm).
If necessary, you can slightly scale the model in your slicer.
The model was tested using double-sided tape for secure attachment without damaging the device.
