Description

This is a parallel finger gripper with a rack and pinion mechanism. It is designed for a MG90S micro servo. I saw many grippers online and wanted a parallel gripping version but most required several parts and some were not very pretty. This gripper only needs four parts and 5 cap screws to work . Then I added a lower shroud to cover the servo. The shroud incorporates an M5 Hex Head bolt at the bottom to be used to connect the next section (a rotating wrist). All cap screws including the screws holding the servos in place are M2.5, same as the servo screw that would normally hold a horn. The horn is not needed here since the gear is sized to directly fit the servo. The fingers open to a maximum of 65mm.
