Description
First of all a big thank to the original author Julien Watier for this wonderful glider project.
I decided to give a try but soon I realized that I needed two new servos for the wing movement. The ones that I orderd - very expensive - never arrived, so I decided to modify the wing movement system in order to use standard - cheap - servos.
The design of the new servo tray and linkages was really easy considering that STEP files of the model were available.
So this is my version: the servo tray was printed with PETG (2walls - 15% infill) so the linkages with 4 walls - at the end the part must be 100% solid.
Remmeber to mirror the links to create right and left ones.
You need a 2mm steel or carbon rod to install the linkages and the stoppers.
You can use the original fuselage and cut away the previous servo suppert, or you can print a new part without the servo support, I uploaded the first fuselage part without the servo support that is compliant with the original parts.
Following the author philosophy I uploaded also the STEP files of the modification.
