Description
This is a simple support brace for second generation NorthGate OmniKey keyboards that resolves the mounting plate/PCB sag that many of these old keyboards develop over the years. It's designed to be an easily reversible modification that requires no adhesive or fasteners to install while preserving typing feel and case acoustics. The brace is meant to be printed with TPU as it will stay in place with compression and it retains a little bit of the "give" the stock keyboard plate has.
===IMPORTANT===
This brace will only fit the revised 1990s second generation OmnIKeys. These are identifiable by the flip-up cover under the badge on the top left corner of the keyboard, the physically larger case, and the single piece PCB. This will NOT fit earlier 1980s OmniKeys with the dip switches on the back and the smaller case. It might fit the later CVT Avant keyboards however.
I have only tested this in my Ultra-T but it should fit the 101, 102, and Plus since they have the same case dimensions.
