BR/LMS High Open Wagons With Corrugated Ends

Here are files for BR and LMS built High Open wagons with corrugated steel ends. They are drawn full size so scale to suit your model.

Two BR diagrams were issued, 1/039 built with a tarpaulin bar fitted and 1/044 without, although some had bars removed in later life and some built without had them fitted later! Underframes varied with LMS clasp 8 shoe, Morton and RCH fitted. So as ever check the prototype you intend to model.

I have also drawn the LMS version which has subtle differences including in the diagonal strapping and end detail.

Tarpaulin supports, if needed, can be found in my High Ferry Wagon files and suitable buffers elsewhere in my designs.

Transfers for the BR and LMS variants are available from Cambridge Custom Transfers sheets BL73 (BR) and BL75 (ex-LMS)
