Description
Made these for a friend, I do not have a shopsmith. These nuts were modeled after physical parts given to me, not another remix, and my understanding is that shopsmith is now out-of-business, so there should be no issue matching the dimensions. These are tested and working in the shopsmith rails. I noticed that different T-Slot nuts have different diameter threaded holes so that's how I modeled them. Also created a version that allows a standard 1/4-20 bolt to be pressed in, and a version for a weld-nut I had on-hand (I only have metric fasteners b/c cheaper). These do have a five-thousandths offset to ensure they aren't too tight.
If someone would like a different threading or unthreaded hole, leave a message and I'll probably do it is it's before... IDK spring 2026?! Otherwise, print the unthreaded long nut, which is designed to be 1/4-20 threaded and bore the hole out to your needs.
Print enough infill to meet your needs for strength/threading. I put a 20mm infill modifier set to 100% around the holes.
NOTE: INCH SCALE not metric! I understand that some slicers don't see this setting, I can confirm that Prusaslicer 2.9. X will ask to convert to metric.
