Description
Tool to save space, when keeping paint spray cans in horizontal position.
Beside painting with brush and airbrushing, I use some paint spray cans for base coat and some special colours. Occasionally used only, the best way to keep the spray cans operational is to store them in horizontal positions. This prevents the paint particles from settling at the bottom of the can and clogging the pipe to the spray head. Instead, they settle along the sides, where they are much easier to shake up when needed since they don't form a solid block.
Unfortunately, this storage position has the disadvantage of taking up a lot of space on desk or in my shelf. Therefore, I designed this rack so I can store four cans on top of each other. This works quite well, as almost all standard spray paint cans have a diameter of just under 7 cm (or 2 3/4").
Hope you enjoy this solution, like I do.
