Festool-Style Vacuum Hose to Cyclone Adapter

I recently upgraded my setup with this rotating vacuum hose to make it more comfortable to use with my power tools. The hose I bought was advertised as compatible with Festool vacuums, and since I’ve never owned any Festool equipment, I assumed the hose size would be similar to other brands. Unfortunately, the vacuum-side connector didn’t fit my cyclone separator inlet port (~56 mm OD), so I designed this custom adapter to connect it directly to the cyclone. This adapter provides a snug, airtight fit and maintains smooth airflow for optimal dust extraction. Fit tolerance may vary slightly between printers and slicers — a light sanding or scale adjustment may be needed for your setup. I also designed tool-side adapters that convert it to 36 mm OD, which fits many power tools with similar dust port sizes, such as Bosch circular saws and DeWalt random orbital sanders. With a 32 mm adapter, it can also be used with standard 32 mm vacuum tool attachments.
