Description
So, I've been sitting on this model for a while, debating on whether or not to publish it. It's not totally optimized, and it's not color-separated, but retrofitting it would take too long. That said, it's still a "kit" in the sense that it's easy to put together. For this model, though, I wanted to do something special. This helicopter has a hollowed-out troop bay, and comes with little seats to put in there. It's not super detailed, but it's there. There are options to have the doors in an open or closed position, or removed altogether.
This thing is a very, very weird amalgamation of designs. The nose is modeled after the SA-2 Samson from Avatar, while the main body is taken from a UH-60 Black Hawk. I beefed up the landing gear and changed a few details, but the third notable design choice is the coaxial rotor system, topped with a radar copied from the AH-64 Apache.
It's weird, it's ugly, but it has that pug-like charm that redeems it. At least, I hope it does. Hopefully it'll fit into any role you need a near-future sci-fi helicopter for. As always, if you have any questions about assembly or other stuff, do ask.
