Description
EDIT: 16 Nov 2025 - Leftovers tray updated again, mission and mission/cards separated out and counts corrected. Minor rework of Replicators tray to adopt all-capitals consistently.
EDIT: 11 Nov 2025 - Leftovers tray updated, mission slot was one counter too small.
This stores all of the final content of Space Empires 4X in the All Good Things box with minimal lid lift.
If you leave off all of the printed goods (manuals, player aids, production sheets) everything fits with about 3mm to spare.
So the amount of lid lift you get will depend on how much of the printed material you choose to store.
Everything except the card trays should be printed with 0.2mm layers with a 0.4mm nozzle. The card trays can use whatever draft mode you prefer.
The pictures contain an earlier version of the lid that caused too many print failures so the final version is simpler but still uses very little filament.
Note that any file with a _0 suffix includes the labels separately if you have multi-material support in the _1 version of the file. For Bambu Labs, import both the files at once and turn them into a single object when asked. Assign filament colors in the Object menu. I recommend turning off the Prime Tower as well. You can print both of the player trays of a given color at once easily enough on an A1 (but not an A1 mini).
The bottom layer of the box should contain:
AGT_UpperTerrainTray.stl
AGT_Extra_Tray.stl (at the very top)
AGT_DeepSpace_Tray.stl
AGT_LowerTerrainTray.stl
AGT_Amoeba_Dice_Tray.stl
AGT_AliensColoniesPlanetAttr_Tray.stl
The next layer of the box should contain:
The main game board
AGT_NumbersTray.stl
After this you have some flexibility but here is one idea. Thie third layer of the box should contain:
AGT_BaseEmpire_Ships_0.stl. (print four times for each of the base factions)
AGT_AltEmpire_Ships_0.stl (print twice)
The shared lid for both is in AGT_BaseEmpire_Lid.stl (print six times)
The fourth and fifth layer of the box should contain:
AGT_CardTray.stl (this holds most of the cards, and the terrain stands, and the six player fleet sheets)
AGT_BaseEmpire_Other_0.stl (print four times for each of the base factions)
AGT_AltEmpire_Other_0.stl (print twice)
AGT_BaseEmpire_Other_Lid.stl (print six times)
AGT_Replicators_0.stl
AGT_Leftovers_Tray_0.stl
AGT_Replicators_Leftovers_Lid.stl (print twice)
Note that the "Other" trays stack two layers deep and fit to the right of the card tray. Not all of the terrain stands will fit in the fourth card well, but the majority of them will, probably enough for any reasonable game.
The final layer should be as much printed material as you'd like.
Not all of the cards will fit in the main tray. You'll need to print out AGT_SidewaysCards.stl; it fits in the gap left at the top of the box left by the game board and numbers tray.
For the terrain tiles — four of them will not fit. I picked three Nebula/Asteroid tiles and one Black Hole/Asteroid Tile.
The other terrain tiles, by column, working from top to bottom, left to right (12 tiles per well)
First Column, Upper: Terra (Blue), Sisu (Gold). Delta (Purple),
First Column: Lower: Quasar(4)/IonStorm(4)/PlasmaStorm(4), Barren(9)/Asteroids(3)
Second Column, Upper: Chulak (Green), Altair (Red),
Second Column, Lower: Nebula, Asteroids, GalacticCapitol/WarpPoint(4)/QuantumFilament(4)/Pulsar(3)
Third Column, Upper: Vasyr (Yellow), Vesta (Gold), FoldInSpace(11)/SuperNova(1)
Third Column, Lower: BlackHole, Barren(9)/BlackHole(3)
Fourth Column, Lower: Nebula, Asteroids, SuperNova
The Leftovers tray is a bit cryptic, here's the key, by column, front to back:
