Description

TLDR: A box to keep your Neilsen CT2458 countersink set safely in one place.

This one'll be short and sweet cos it's just another variation of my standard slidey-lid box. I just added a built-in shaped insert to keep all the pieces together in a neat and tidy way.

There's not much to add to that really! I've included the FreeCad file, along with .step, .3mf and .stl files for you to take your preference from.

Mine's printed in PETG, at 0.2mm layer height, and I used adaptive layer height to help keep the rounded lower face tidy.

There is one minor niggle in the design: The little ramp that keeps the lid closed is a fraction too high. This means that the first few times you slide the lid in and out it will drag on the underside of the lid, and possibly make a screeching noise. Don't worry if it does this because it soon sorts itself out after a few slides of the lid smooths the sharp edge a bit.

No puns to finish with today, I simply couldn't think of any. So I'm countering on you to sink of one!

Happy printing!
