Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 - KAP-40 Replica

About:
Print and own quite possibly one of the most iconic weapons from the Black Ops franchise! This replica pistol was fully designed by myself and printed to pay homage to one of the greatest installments in the CoD series.

Additional pieces needed and not included here are springs from any typical pen. These help the mag release and bolt slide mechanisms.

This piece can be printed without these moving mechanisms and still deliver an amazing collectible for any fan. If this post gets 50 likes, I will release the stand for this piece as well to be printed for display (as seen in the photos!)

Build Instructions:

1. Print all files attached to this post
2. Paint the pieces accordingly. All 'welding' and adhering will take place within the inside, so it can all be hidden cleanly.
3. Test fit all of the pieces to ensure everything looks clean/fits.
4. Using a strong adhesive or PLA 'weld' with a soldering iron (the best method, in my opinion) all of the 'Left' pieces with each other (grip, mid receiver, upper receiver). Do the same for the 'Right' pieces.
5. Print the connector pieces.
6. Place the bolt inside the right piece so the 'door' covers the exhaust chamber.
7. Optional: add springs to the bolt inside to create a sliding bolt mechanism. Weld or epoxy the caps to each rod to secure springs in place.
8. Epoxy or super glue the connectors into one side. Wait to adhere.
9. Epoxy or super glue the connectors to the other side. Wait to adhere. You now have the full weapon.
10. Add the barrel, top rail, side rails, and bottom rail to weapon. Epoxy or super glue in place.
11. Ensure the magazine slides in and out cleanly. Add the pin into one side and cut down another spring to fit the end of the pin and between the mag release pin. This should be about 1/3 the size of a typical pen spring. Weld the cap once the pin is in and the cap is in place. Test magazine insert and release (should click into the pin automatically.
12. Finish and seal all painting once fully assembled (if painted!)
13. Enjoy!!!!

Print Tips:

• Light infill on all parts (10-15%)
• Increase infill on connectors to add weight to the replica
