lasercut starplate for a specific day

The light plate is lasercut by using kstars (Linux), Inkscape and Gimp (for repainting the stars in full black for vecorizing them).
The woodframe is made with a table saw, so maybe you could do something with lasercut instead :-)
I have also made a little box for a step-up circuit to use a 5V power supply at ~9V for the LED strips.
