Impossible Vortex Passthrough – Christmas Tree Snow

I was exploring Impossible Passthrough structures and decided to turn the idea into a Christmas-themed piece. The core looks like a delicate snowflake, and the side reveals the profile of a Christmas tree.

When I designed it, I definitely leaned a bit too far into “form over function”, so the Christmas tree shape can be a little tricky to print. It will print without support, but the edges may come out a little rough depending on your printer. You can use tree supports if you prefer, although removing them can be a bit tricky. I tried a few different side profiles for the tree, but this version still looked the best to me, so… here it is.
