Closed Christmas Ball with Ribs 2025

A lovely ball for the Christmas tree that prints light and doesn't require a lot of supports.

You can scale this down a lot and still get good detail with a standard .4mm nozzle. At 50%, the loop prints cleanly, but it is very fragile.

I used 2 perimeters for roughly the first 7mm and the last 18mm. In between, I just used 1 perimeter. Use the classic perimeter generator. It's cleaner for geometric designs like this.

I used 10% lightning infill.

I usually print the outer perimeter slower than the default speed for my printer to get a clean, detailed print.
