Description

Here is my last release of 2025, the WiiMote Guncon!

Three parts, clips together and designed in a way so it prints without supports.

I admit, I have created this in the simplest way possible, designed so that it takes the least effort to print and because of that It warrants a version 2 in the future with multiple parts and more depth to it.

I am printing using smooth beds and so my prints stick like crazy. If you are using a textured bed, you might need to use a brim so that in the first couple of layers, the small details dont shift around.

I would recommend a 250x250mm bed, the minimum being 235x235mm with the part at a 19 degree angle (thanks to user Clkish1988 for the question)

I used the excellent Wesk scans [ https://bitbuilt.net/forums/threads/ps1-guncon-lightgun-scan.4124/ ] as a reference, which was super useful for getting the details in the right spots; unfortunately, compromises were made, like the small text. It's the right size and location, but because of this there is a loss of clarity. I am going to leave it this way, I could increase it in size but I think it will stick out.

I tried to lower the thickness inherent in making it this way, by angling in the face from the Wiimote to the bottom of the grip. I think it helped but if I were to do it again, I would maybe increase the angle a degree or two. Or just make it the way I have done before, by bolting separate parts together.

Anyway, I hope you have fun with it and...

There's been a kidnapping! It's Rachel,
the daughter of President of Sercia!
