Description

Demon Hunter – Storm the Gates is a high-relief 3D wall plaque inspired by the imagery of sealed gates and relentless defiance. The design features a horned demonic skull split cleanly down the center across two stone panels, giving the appearance of massive doors forged from ancient, weathered stone. Subtle ornamental hardware and surface distressing reinforce the feeling of an unbreakable barrier on the verge of being forced open.

This piece is designed as dual-panel wall art, allowing it to be displayed as a complete gate or slightly separated for added visual tension. The sculpt emphasizes symmetry, heavy texture, and depth, making it ideal for dark fantasy, gothic, and metal-inspired display spaces.

Recommended Print Settings
Material: PLA recommended (PETG also suitable)
Nozzle:
0.4 mm for maximum surface detail
0.6–1.0 mm for larger or faster prints
Layer Height:
0.2 mm for detail-focused results
0.28–0.32 mm for faster prints with preserved texture
Infill: 10–20% (gyroid or cubic recommended)
Walls: 3–4 perimeters

Supports:
Tree supports recommended
Touching build plate only

Orientation:
Print both panels flat with backs on the build plate

Post-Processing Tips (Optional)
Light sanding on the back surfaces for flush wall mounting
Primer helps unify stone and bone textures
Dry brushing highlights horns, cracks, and raised edges
Matte clear coat recommended for an aged gate or relic finish

Mounting Suggestions
Mount panels flush together for a sealed-gate look
Slightly separate panels for a “breaking open” effect
Heavy-duty mounting tape for lighter prints
Screws or wall anchors for large or scaled-up versions

Notes
Panels can be scaled independently or together
Larger prints benefit from slower outer wall speeds
Designed to remain flat, rigid, and aligned once mounted

Remixes are welcome for personal use, including alternate borders, hinge details, mounting slots, or panel spacing variations. Attribution is appreciated when sharing remixed versions.
