Description
I've been fitting a new utility room out with cupboards and wall cabinets. Something I've noticed is the doors do not come with pre marked drilling spots for the door handles / knobs. I've knocked up this simple jig to help ensure the knobs all line up as being even a millimetre out, can make the whole appearance look crap. The doors we have are "Good Home Ashmead," as sold by B&Q and they're a shaker style door with a frame width of 65mm. The jig puts the hole at the centre intersection, so 32.5mm from side and top / bottom edges. These dimensions will probably suit other style doors so figured I'd publish it in case someone found it useful.
