This is less of a remix and more of an addon for the Pottery Throwing Gauge by MrWorld. My wife recently got into pottery and wanted to use the throwing gauge as more of a guide while hand building on a turn wheel. This gives you a weighted base to hold the throwing gauge away from the throwing wheel.
Once printed, you can fill the base with sand or aquarium gravel or similar and then glue the top down. I printed in PLA and used regular ol' Testors Model Glue (red metal tube). Works great. Recommend gluing the top down since it is really just a friction fit otherwise. When applying glue, be aware that the hole in the top goes down around the OUTSIDE of the column in the base. If you want to glue that section as well, recommend applying the glue the outside of the column in the base, that way it won't drip / squeeze into inside of the column.
Fit is loose enough to allow rotating of the column/gauge. If it is too loose/ tight due to printer tolerance, recommend scaling both top and bottom by 1% -- YMMV
