Este modelo foi desenvolvido pelo Laboratório Maker do SEPT-UFPR para facilitar a compreensão visual e tátil do Produto Vetorial, um conceito essencial no estudo de Cálculo Vetorial e Física (Eletromagnetismo).
O kit consiste em uma esfera perfurada e hastes que representam vetores, permitindo que os alunos montem fisicamente a regra da mão direita para determinar a direção da Força Magnética ou do torque. É uma ferramenta de tecnologia assistiva excelente, pois transforma uma regra abstrata em uma experiência física e tridimensional.

Resolution: 0.2mm.Infill: 15-20%.
Notes: A esfera foi projetada para ser impressa em duas metades para evitar o uso excessivo de suportes. As hastes (vetores) devem ser impressas separadamente. Recomenda-se o uso de cores diferentes para cada vetor para facilitar a explicação em sala de aula.

This Cross Product Visualizer was developed by the SEPT-UFPR Maker Lab to enhance the visual and tactile understanding of vector algebra, specifically the Cross Product. This is a fundamental concept in Calculus and Physics (Electromagnetism).

The kit includes a perforated sphere and rods (vectors), enabling students to physically apply the right-hand rule to determine the direction of Magnetic Force or torque. It serves as an excellent assistive technology tool, turning abstract mathematical rules into a tangible 3D experience.

Print Settings

Printer: (Insert your model)

Resolution: 0.2mm.

Infill: 20%.

Notes: The sphere is designed to be printed in two halves to minimize support usage. Vectors (rods) should be printed separately. For the best educational impact, print each vector in a different color.
