SMD Electrolytic Capacitor Toilet Paper Dispenser with Twist Lock

I work with electronics and use toilet paper daily to clean soldering flux and thermal paste. A roll of toilet paper on the bench, however, looks quite bad and out of place… so what better than a huge SMD electrolytic capacitor toilet paper dispenser? 😅


Versions

  • Small – for toilet rolls up to 9 cm wide and 9.5 cm in diameter
  • Big – for toilet rolls up to 11 cm wide and 11 cm in diameter

Magnet Mount

There’s a pocket on the bottom piece for a 30 × 20 × 5 mm neodymium magnet, allowing you to attach the dispenser to a vertical metal surface.

My magnets were slightly smaller than the advertised 30 × 20 × 5 mm, so I made the pocket exactly that size and they fit perfectly.
Check your magnets before printing to make sure they fit.


BTW: I printed the big capacitor first and used a fillet instead of a chamfer on the top edge, which turned out poorly when printing upside down.
This has already been fixed in the design, so your print will look good, just like the small version.
