COOKIE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:

2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
200 g butter (softened)
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon salt

INSTRUCTIONS:

In a bowl, mix the butter and sugar until smooth and creamy.

Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.

Gradually add the flour and salt until a soft dough forms.

Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Roll the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 5 mm thickness.

Cut the cookies using the cookie cutter.

Place the cookies on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 10–12 minutes or until lightly golden.

Let the cookies cool before decorating.
