COOKIE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:

2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
100 g butter (room temperature)
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 pinch of salt

INSTRUCTIONS:

In a bowl, mix the butter and sugar until smooth.

Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix well.

In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until a dough forms.

Wrap the dough and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 5 mm thickness.

Cut the cookies using the cutter.

Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Bake at 180°C (356°F) for 10–12 minutes or until lightly golden.
