If we put the battery cradle back to the box just because it was no longer compatible...
This sound like is a waste, isn't it? So why don't think a better way to reuse it?

####What is this?
This is the native strap adapter design for user who wanted to reuse their battery cradle when using Quest 2 Strap Compatible System:

####Note:
User will need the "Metal Hook From XR Elite Stock Arms" for this mod, user may see image 2 if no idea where is the hook.
The orientation of provided model is well set, and the provided model is the right side, mirror it for the left side.
Please make sure print the model with Support "Everywhere" for the plug and strap mount print quality, and set Contact Z Distance(Top and Bottom) at Support setting tab to "0.2mm" to make removing support little bit easier.
User may feel harder to install the metal hooks to the adapter at the first time, try to use tweezer or other kind of tool for help and use some force to push it into very end.
