Description
**Hey, this model is outdated, and has been succeeded by the official launch of S.A.B.E.R., which you can find for free on my thingiverse profile, or here on my ko-fi page: https://ko-fi.com/brisingr42
This model is a sidesword-inspired lightsaber hilt, designed as part of my upcoming S.A.B.E.R. (Standardized Adaptive Blade Enclosure Rig) system- a modular, 3D-printable lightsaber platform.
This hilt is designed to fit a standard 1" neopixel or baselit core (although longer cores will fit, shorter cores allow for greater blade socket depth. If you have a longer core, go with a longer emitter to help with blade wobble).
The goal of the S.A.B.E.R. project is simple:
Create a customizable, modular lightsaber system without the cost of a full metal hilt.
This model demonstrates the core ideas behind the S.A.B.E.R system:
Interchangeable Pommel System: currently includes 7 different pommel styles, all quick-swappable using a bayonet-style lock at the base of the hilt.
Interchangeable Emitter System: Currently includes 2 emitter styles, also using a bayonet-style interface for fast, tool-free swapping.
This particular hilt also has a knuckle bow. It is recommended to print flat for strength and flexibility.

Notes
This model is part of an ongoing system and is still evolving:
While designed for durability, printed parts (especially PLA) have limits.
For anything more than light sparring, please use appropriate materials (PETG, ABS, Nylon, etc.)
