Description
I wanted to install a 5015 blower fan as cooler in my Ender 2 and wasn't satisfied with the available options, so I designed a simple model that attaches to the metal plate that holds the original cooler and comes with the printer.
It prints pretty easily in PETG with supports. I didn't print in PLA because of the proximity to the hotend, I thought using a more heat resistent filament was a better option.
For installation, it'll require a pair of M3x20 screws and a pair of M3 nuts to fix the blower to the bracket.
To fix the bracket to the plate, you can use the original plate screws, which are M2x8 - no nut is necessary.
The height of the blower is adjustable to correctly aim it at the nozzle.
Print time: ~ 3h50
Filament spent: ~23g
