Description
This is a remix of the Mbot from https://grabcad.com/library/mbot3d-mk2_rev2-0-ender7-style-fan-duct-1
I added an upright to hold the Bowden tube and wires. The cover attaches to the back with m3 threaded inserts and where it connects to the back, I have made holes to hold 4mm magnets. I have printed this and everything fits but I have not ran it yet. There is also a front fan cover included just for aesthetics. Other than the 6- 2x4mm neodymium magnets the BOM will be the same as the version from Schnabulation. I had to make the bottom ducts a little wider than the original as I felt like they were just too close to the heat block. Also I modified the inner duct (Should you use it rather than mounting front fan on cover) so that it is shorter on the bottom to stay clear of the heat block.
Magnet installation: You will need 8 m4x2 magnets. that is 4mm wide by 2 mm thick. For mine I glued 3 together then put a dab of super glue on the end and dropped it in one of the top holes on the cover. Repeat this for the other hole. For the backplate only 1 is required, just super glue it in the center hole on each side. Make sure you don't glue them in with opposing poles! we want them to attract, not push away lol. 2 photos above showing the locations of these.
