Description
Car carrier truck for 1:64 scale cars.
Based on my son’s request, I designed this car carrier truck. It is made from multiple parts - the main truck body and separate axles, which need to be glued together with super glue after printing and attaching the wheels.
The wheel axles need to be cut in half and pressed into the axles. It may require a bit of force.
The trailer drawbar is intentionally very thin to match the scale. I did not want to make it overly thick or bulky, so extra care is needed when removing the finished print from the printer bed.
The tow hitch is printed in a way that allows it to be attached to the vehicle chassis using double-sided tape. It is also very delicate and easy to damage, but for display purposes it is absolutely ideal.
I believe the final result is worth it.
