Description
This is a label plate that indicates the correct operating position for the fuel shut-off valve lever on a Honda HRA214 rotary lawnmower (GXV120 engine).
I was recently asked to restore a Honda lawnmower that is over 40 years old (and probably good for 100 years!). However, since it had not been used for more than a dozen years, the carburetor was completely clogged with over 1/16 inch of black varnish that was impossible to remove (shafts stuck) . As a result, I had to replace the carburetor with a new one (a Chinese aftermarket copy purchased from Amazon).
To my surprise, I discovered that the new carburator built-in fuel valve operates opposite to what is shown on the original sticker regarding the engine run positions.
This 3D print is intended to correct the incorrect marking on the mower for the fuel valve operation.
Be sure to remove the original sticker to avoid conflicting information.
