Description

This is my version of the closet hat hanger. The store bought ones just suck, they fall apart easily, the hat doesn't stay on it if you remove another hat and you can't store any other hats besides baseball hats or gloves. This is why I think my design is better, because you can store, baseball hats, winter hats and winter gloves.

And the reason it would be better for winter outerwear because it allows it to dry instead of just lying on the shelf, same withe gloves.

Will require supports to print the hooks on the side for best results. Use 0.25 top z and bottom z distance clearance for the best supports and make sure to use tree supports as it will remove really easily. I suggest to print the hooks sideways and put the supports on the dove tail joints so they set in properly and no stringing occurs.

The design is sturdy and doesn't require any tools to assemble. Once all the parts are printed and supports are removed:

  1. Take the middle hook and slide the dovetail into the slot.
  2. Then slide the next middle hook or if you only have 3 hats or things you want to store, use the bottom hook to close the chain.
  3. If not just keep on assembling the hat organizer until all the middle hook are attached and finish it off with a bottom hook.
  4. Lastly insert the hanger into the whole of the top hook, it should clip into the top hook, to remove it you can squeeze the peg and it will slide right out.
  5. Voila you have a perfectly working hat and gloves organizer.
