Description
Name of the frame: Sugalime3D FPV Splos65 V0.1 drone frame
Publication date: May 30, 2026
Pocket size carbon fiber drone frame with a 65,00 mm wheelbase (motor to motor diagonally) and for 31 mm props.
Optimized for LOS freestyle (No VTX, No FPV cam) flying and top mounted battery. I also made a foundation adapter for FPV cam implementation.
The name "Splos" for a frame was originally stemming from the idea [S]mallest [P]ossible [LOS] with top mounted LiPo. It is based on the Splos63 design from back then...

There are 4 variations of the SPLOS65 V0.1 frame. All can have 0-45° FPV cam tilt and at the same time use 54x10 or 64x10 mm LiPo. Almost all are using the same X-plate and Lipo-plate.
I recommend choosing the top plate version with countersinks. The advantage is that there is less risk of the LiPo battery getting dented by the screw heads. And the LiPo is slightly lower making the weight more centralized...
54x10 mm footprint 1S LIPO (For example BETAFPV LAVA II 1S 280mAh size 54x10x6 mm)
Diameter 6,6 mm M1,4 mm mount motors. Usually: 0702, 0703, 0802, 0803, 1002, 1003, 1102 1S motors with M1,4 screws.
M2 Standoffs.
Cross or square with concave curved sides formfactor AIO. 1S whoop stlye AIO 25,5 x 25,5 mm M2 screw mount (for example Flywoo GOKU F405 HD 1S 5A ELRS AIO V2.0, BETAFPV Matrix 1S Brushless FC, ...). AIO bottom usb connector max size is microUSB. USB-C will probably not work but tiny whoop AIOs doesn't use USB-C because it is too big...
Smallest corner rounding (fillet) is radius 1,0 mm
Bottom plate for 1,5 mm carbon fiber plate
Top plate for 1,5 mm carbon fiber plate
Ask the CNC service for the tumbling process (aka tumble deburring or vibratory finishing) of the parts, so that the corners and edges receive a slight chamfer and are not sharp.
Use at your own risk ! It is in version 0.1 and not 0.5 or 1.0 ! I guess it should work. However, it has not been tested. Big and/or small errors are possible. The design is still in the prototype phase. I have not ordered and tested the part through a CNC service yet. Therefore, the part may still be revised and then appear as V0.5 on a new page.
Thx to a-99 for the thingiverse C03 whoop canopy which was used to do a 3D CAD preview picture of the variations of the frame.
