Description

Add a touch of elegance to your everyday lighter with this 3D printable sleeve, featuring a seamless crystal pattern. Designed to snugly fit a standard BIC lighter, it transforms a simple object into a stylish, decorative accessory. Perfect for personal use or as a thoughtful gift. Print settingsA 0.4mm nozzle with 0.2mm layer height works well with at least 15% Rectilinear infill pattern.Print with 3 walls (perimeters) for best fit.To avoid internal stringing, set to “Avoid crossing perimeters” and set the seam position to “Aligned”.If you want more detail, please print with a higher resolution. I printed it with a 0.25mm nozzle at a 0.15mm layer hight as shown in the preview.Remove the part after the print sheet has cooled, then flex the sheet to release it.Looks great when printed with silk PLA.Important Please ReadPrint and use this 3D printed BIC lighter sleeve at your own risk. I assume no liability for any damage, injury, or malfunction arising from its use, misuse, or from the characteristics of the material you choose to print it with. This case is made to fit standard size J6 Bic lighters without additional plastic wraps or shrink coverings. Please keep in mind: Different filaments can vary in their physical properties, which affects how they behave during extrusion. This can have an impact on the fit of the BIC sleeve.Should the cover be too loose, please consider the following options:adding some tape around the lighter.consider re-scaling the width of the object in your slicer between -0.25 mm and -0.5 mm. Should the cover be too tight, please consider the following option:You can print this with three perimeters for extra strength, but be aware that the lighter will fit much more tightly. If you choose to do this, proceed at your own risk: gently warm the 3D-printed sleeve with a heat gun and carefully press the lighter into place while the material is slightly pliable.A hole at the bottom allows for easy removal when it’s time to replace the lighter.Enj
