This is an Adderini slingshot arm for 5mm tubing. The tubing is threaded through the ends of the bowstring and through the arm, so that it only needs to be secured at the start and end with a grommet. This allows the length to be easily adjusted even after assembly. The arms are fitted exactly as the original Theraband arms, without any modifications.

Print the arms using the recommended Adderini settings and with support. You do not need any support for the six 5mm tube holes, as they will need to be sanded out or drilled out with a 5mm drill bit anyway. Otherwise, it’s a real struggle to thread the tubes through. Top tip: Cut the tube at an angle so that you can thread it through the often very small end rings of the bowstring. So far, the arms are holding up well and showing no signs of wear, whilst the bowstring is slowly giving way... I’m still learning how to make them properly.

Das ist ein Adderini Katapult-Arm für 5mm Schlauch. Der Schlauch wird durch die Enden der Bogensehne und durch den Arm geschlungen, so dass er nur am Anfang und Ende mit einem Durchrutschstopper fixiert werden muss. Dadurch lässt die Länge auch nach Montage noch leicht justieren. Die Arme werden ohne jegliche Änderungen genau so montiert, wie die Originalarme für das Theraband.

Druckt die Arme mit den empfohlenen Adderini Einstellungen und mit Support. Für die sechs 5mm Schlauchlöcher braucht ihr keinen Support, da sie sowieso ausgeschliffen oder mit einem 5mm Bohrer ausgebohrt werden sollten. Ansonsten lassen sich die Schläuche nur sehr mühsam hindurchfädeln. Toptipp: Schneidet den Schlauch schräg an, so dass ihr ihn durch die oft sehr klein diemensionierten Endringe der Bogensehne fädeln könnt. Bisher halten die Arme gut und zeigen keinerlei Ermüdungserscheinungen, während die Bogensehne so langsam aufgibt ...ich lerne noch wie man die richtig zusammenzwirbelt.
