Rowenta Fan Knob Repair Insert

The original knob on my Rowenta fan cracked around the center shaft, making it loose and unreliable. I know you could simply reprint the whole knob, but I also know you’d probably love to keep the original one and just fix it while using much less material.

This small repair insert reinforces the broken center section of the knob and gives it a second life. It is designed to fit inside the original knob, so the fan keeps its original look from the outside.

A tiny print, quick to make, and much less wasteful than replacing the whole part.

-Good solution if only the inner shaft area is cracked

NOTES :Make sure the broken knob is clean before installing the insert. Depending on your printer tolerances, you may need a small amount of sanding or a drop of glue for a perfect fit.

Designed as a practical repair, not a full replacement.

In alternative, if you can't print it, My previous fix of a similar issue was using a heat shrinking tube and fill the knob with hot glue. That may also work.
