Customizable - Every nut and washer

(NOTE: I've disabled customizer support, because something about this script causes it to fail in queue. It works fine on my local machine, so I've created and uploaded all standard size variants. If you need something customized, download and use the OpenSCAD script -- because it was already rigged for customizer, it should be easy to read and edit the parameters to your needs.)

This customizer creates a package of every common nut and washer variant for a given diameter. You can pick the diameter from a list of standard metric and U.S. sizes, and all related dimensions will be chosen based on published standards (see included spreadsheet for data and sources).

There's no threading on the nuts, rather, you cut threads yourself the first time when you use them with a metal screw or bolt.

These fasteners will of course be made of plastic, and so should only be used for low-load applications.

Fasteners included:

• Hex nut
• Jam nut (a thinner hex nut)
• Cap nut (has a dome on top, also known as an acorn nut)
• Thumb nut (nurled edge for hand tightening)
• Square nut
• Wing nut
• Coupler nut (long nut for connecting two threaded rods together)
• Lock washer (raised teeth attempt to prevent screws from backing out)
• Small washer (little outer diameter)
• Standard washer (published standard outer diameter)
• Fender washer (large outer diameter)
• Dowel pin (cylinder with beveled ends)

Features:

• Can build a full set of fasteners with just one setting, but there's lots of overrides and adjustments available if needed.
• Select from standard U.S. and metric sizes -- no need to look anything up in tables or convert units.
