Summary

The cyclops extruder hot-end from E3D is a fantastic idea. The concept of a single nozzle with multiple colors solves a lot of problems.
The extruder hot end is designed for bowden style extruders which i do not think are as reliable as direct drive. I designed components to allow the hotend to now be direct drive

For the lever pivot i used a 5mm rod drilled and tapped each end for 3 mm screws.
Remove 1 assembly screw from each of the stepper motors. This is going to be where the lever pivot will be attached
Drill out the threaded hole on the shaft side of the body
I used MK7 Filament drive wheel which you can buy online
Cut the shaft of the steppers so that they do not protrude past the filament drive wheel
You will need 2 long 3mm screws...the ones i used i got from an old extruder.
assemble the cyclops hot end as per instructions
Mount the cyclops onto the bottom of the extruder chasis block with 3 screws that have been supplied with the cyclops
using 4mm ptf tubing push the tubbing into the 4mm holes down to the base of the cyclops extruder heat block....you will not be able to push it any further
Using correct length of 3mm socket head screws assemble the stepper motors to the Extruder chasis block
Assemble the levers and bearings (I used 4mm set scres of the correct legth
push lever pivot through both levers
find two strong enough springs for tension (its obvious where the springs go)
you will have to hold the springs and push levers and lever pivot into position then start one of the long 3mm screws
then i used a clamp to push the other side of the levers into position so that i could start the opposite screw
tighten all screws
then test
make sure that the extruder is not going over speed....i had spent a lot of time correcting this
the max input filament should be no more that 10mm sec (this is actually a normal speed for most extruders)
