Description
This helps you find out the real projection resolution of your DLP 3D printer. It has holes and shafts from 50 microns until 18 mm of diameter. Also valid to calibrate the 3D printer.
To find out the therical projection resolution you just have to do this:
Y printing area/ projection pixels in Y axis
X printing area/ projection pixels in X axis
For example if you have a projector of 1920x1080 and a printing area of 16x9 cm your theorical printing resolution is:
160/1920=0.08333
90/1080=0.0833
So the theorical projection resolution is = 83.3 x 83.3 microns
Now you just have to print this test and see how different is the theory and the practice.
