Description
I wanted to make chainmail that was curvy rather than flat and boxy, and I've been thinking a lot about Celtic knots and how they can link together. This one is not particularly knot like, but I'm moving in that direction. This is based on a hexagonal link, with the lower sides of the hexagon being paired with an upward arch to make a loop. This makes the linking very stable, the bridge going through the loop can't travel very far, but it also makes it less flexible.
Also I wanted to upload it to Customizer so that I could render larger sheets than OpenSCAD on my computer is happy with!
