APOLLO 11 1/24th Pack 1: Stand

Apollo 11 is a mission of the American Apollo space program, during which men landed on the Moon for the first time on Monday, July 21, 1969. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin set foot on the Moon, while Michael Collins, the CSM pilot, remained in orbit around the Moon during the lunar expedition.

I propose here the realization of a 1/24 model of the Apollo 11 spacecraft itself, composed of the CSM 107 Columbia, and the LM 5 Eagle.

Only the exterior details are shown, but there are still more than 620 parts to be printed for all 5 packs.

The entire model is fully printable with a conventional FDM printer.

the parts don't present any particular difficulties to print, if you already have some experience in 3D printing. the supports, when necessary, are already provided and will be removed as the construction progresses, as indicated in the assembly instructions.

Even so, I wouldn't recommend this model to anyone new to this discipline.

the model is offered in 5 packs, with increasing difficulty of assembly. If you're a regular of my models, this project won't present any particular difficulty.

Total model dimensions: length 65 cm, width 30 cm, height 30 cm

Total model weight: 1600 grs

9 filament colors to choose from, Silver (matte and gloss), Black (matte), White, Copper (gloss), Gold (gloss), Red, Yellow, Blue, and Green.

the final result is simply incredible. Many parts of the model are movable for added realism.
