Bowler Hat and Umbrella - A Very Albian Officer - 32mm scale conversion bits

The Soldiers of the Albian Light Infantry regiments march to battle in what to many soldiers would appear as dress uniform - brilliant red regimental coats; tall, black 'shako'-type helmets; immaculately polished buttons and brass; and the wooden-stocked 'Brown Bess' pattern las-musket.

However, the officers are as famous for their quirky behaviour and dress as their soldiers are for their uniformity! It is not uncommon for an officer to be seen leading his mean into battle carrying an umbrella, as ready to stave of inclement weather as they are the to face many xenos threats they must face. The officers are equally likely to dispose of their offical dress headgear in favour of a favoured 'casual' bowler hat.

These conversion bits set are another a sample of a side project of mine to create bits for popular grim-dark future wargames, with a Napoleonic British theme. This, however, was inspired by a WWII piece of art, where a British officer was leading his troops carrying umbrella and bowler hat in place of something otherwise more suitable for active duty!

The set includes supported and unsupported versions of a bowler hat head, and an arm using an umbrella as a walking stick. They are compatible with the current 'shock troopers' set of models of a popular grim-dark scifi wargame.
