Description
This is NOT a real firearm.
The Gewehr Model 1888, also known as the commission rifle, served as the standard infantry rifle of the German Empire from 1888 to 1898, being replaced by the most iconic Gewehr 98. Being the rifle that Germany used to transition from black powder to smokeless powder to rivalize the French Lebel. The service life of the 88 was turbulent and polemic, but all his years in service, which were extended until seeing the trenches of the Great War, proved it to be a durable, reliable, and effective rifle. A weapon who accomplished his duty and more.
This is a full-scale replica of the Gewehr 88 that includes the complete mechanism of the original one, but it was modified to not shoot any type of projectile, making it completely safe.
