Description

This is a modification of the Montana Mask as found at the site below, this is a personal modification with a little more nose room and adjustments to the filter system.

Original fusion360 files obtained from:
https://www.billingsclinic.com/foundation/3d-printed-surgical-mask/
https://www.makethemasks.com/

I primarily modified this as a dust and particulate filter mask, the filter is assembled so that a single large filter could be used with spacers or multi layer thin filters.

The fusion file uses a custom thread file that is also attached (it is a modification of the E27 Light Bulb Thread)

4/4/2020: Added some pictures of a filter example, using a first layer of microfiber pillow case, a center layer of blue shop towel, and a rear layer of microfiber pillow case. Does add a lot of resistance so I would say something using 3 layers would be a short time use situation. for dust masks and similar a single layer is all I would use.
4/4/2020: Added a snap on shield/diverter for the front of the mask, simply snaps on and diverts the air to the sides and blocks the front of the filter.
4/5/2020: Working on TPU/Flex filament gasket for better fit and comfort to face, hopefully ready soon!
4/7/2020: Added multiple Gasket files, I found that D had the best fit for me, however, I don't have any adhesive or silicone to hold it in place at the moment. The others somewhat work, but perhaps different face types will need different gaskets. The E file is a little too much material but could be trimmed to fit better.

I used eSUN elastic filament for the Gasket.

4/17/20: Added 55mm Filter Adapter and Filter Cap, Also added some alternative straps in case elastic is not available (Printed with elastic and TPU). Added dual filter adapter for smaller original filters and gasket for better adjustment.

Adding threads to Fusion360:
In the files section is the thread file, it needs to be placed in the most current release thread folder. The details of how to find it are located here:
https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Custom-Threads-in-Fusion-360.html

The most recent version needs to be selected at this location:
%localappdata%\Autodesk\webdeploy\Production
The Thread files are placed in this location:
%localappdata%\Autodesk\webdeploy\Production\version ID\Fusion\Server\Fusion\Configuration\ThreadData
Once there the thread will be listed in the create Hole/Thread options.
Also you have to put the custom thread files in after each update, they didn't make it easy.

Hopefully some find this useful.
